Dismissed and arrested judge Ahmet Hamdi Bayar was sentenced to 8 years 1 month 15 days in jail over the pretext of terrorism charges on 11 September 2018.
He was accused of using ByLock secure mobile messaging application which was publicly available on Google and Apple Stores.
