Former prosecutor at the Court of Cassation and Deputy Director General in the Turkish Ministry of Justice, Rasim İsa Bilgen was sentenced to 18 years in prison over the pretext of terrorism charges on 01 May 2018.
He was accused of using ByLock secure mobile messaging application which was publicly available on Google and Apple Stores.
After convicting and sentencing, court ruled continuation of his detention.
