Judge couple Neslihan and Huseyin Ekinci, who have been under pretrial detention for 28 months have just been released.
The couple’s daughter Rana Ekinci spread the release on her twitter account today afternoon. She shared their first meeting outside the prison via her twit:

State News Agency AA reports on 31 October 2018 that dismissed 206 judges and prosecutors received prison sentences ranging from 6 years to 15 years and only 33 of them were acquitted in İstanbul since July 2016.
Thousands of judges and prosecutors have been sentenced to more than 6 years in jail by Special Terror Courts over the pretext of terrorism charges and failed coup attempt since July 2016 in Turkey.
A day after failed coup attempt thousands of judges were detained and arrested by “Criminal Peace Judgeship” which are established in 2014 by Erdogan Regime to control judiciary. Likewise, thousands of judges are convicted by “Special Terror Court Judges” who are appointed among the loyal ones to Erdogan Regime by HSK (Council of Judges and Prosecutors).
Briefly, not only Criminal Peace Judgeships but also Special Terror Courts have been serving to destroy Erdogan’s opponents in Turkey.

Erzurum Regional Appeal Court upheld the 7 years 6 months conviction of arrested judge Gödel on 30 October 2018. The judgement will be appealed to Supreme Appeal Court.
Orhan Gödel was one of the independent candidates for membership of High Council of Judges and Prosecutos in 2014 election. He served as a president of the Bakırköy/İstanbul Justice Commission.

Dismissed justice at Court of Cassation Mehmet Aydoğdu was rounded up and detained following a police raid in Aydın city on 23 October 2018.
He has been fugitive and hiding for 27 months since Ankara prosecution office issued arrest warrant against him along with 2745 judges and prosecutors just a day after the July 15, 2016 failed coup attempt.
