Dismissed and arrested prosecutor Ali Mazhar Okumuş was sentenced to 7 years 6 months in jail by Gaziantep 8th Assize Court for being member of armed terrorist organisation on 29 March 2018.
He was accused of using ByLock secure mobile messaging application which was publicly available on Google and Apple Stores.
He denied accusations and requested his acquittal.
After convicting and sentencing, court ruled continuation of his detention.
