Judge Hatice Özcan and her husband prosecutor Cahit Özcan were respectively sentenced to 7 years 6 months and 8 years 1 month in prison over the pretext of terrorism charges on 18 May 2018. Moreover, court ruled continuation of detention for Cahit Özcan.
They were accused of having 1 $, meeting through alleged Gulenists for marriage which were considered as crimes by current assize courts.
