Dismissed and arrested chief rapporteur judge of Top Court, Mustafa Çağatay was sentenced to 7 years 6 months in jail by Ankara 23th Assize Court over the pretext of terrorism charges on 10 April 2018.
At the last hearing, he denied accusations and asked his acquittal.
After convicting, court released him by considering his long detention period. He will be put in prison again to serve remaining sentence if appeal courts uphold the conviction
