Arrested judge Ayşe Neşe Gül (former deputy president of dissolved Justice Academy and candidate member of Judicial Council) and her husband, arrested prosecutor Cevat Gül (former chief inspector and deputy director of Turkish prisons) are indicted up to 3 times life sentences in prison over the pretext of coup attempt and terrorism charges on 6 Aug 2018.

They have been accused of being members of terrorist organisation, keeping some books and articles of Fethullah Gulen, using ByLock application, misconducting in office to undermine Erdogan Government.

They have been kept in solitary confinement since July 2016 without seeing a judge although A. Neşe Gül was abroad on 15th July 2016 and then she came to Turkey to surrender.
