Gürsel Ceylan, former member of the Council of State who was expelled after July 15 coup attempt, passed away on May 26, 2022.
After the 15 July coup attempt, member of the Council of State Gürsel Ceylan was dismissed from the profession on the pretext of terrorism and an arrest warrant was issued for him. Gürsel Ceylan did not surrender in order not to be exposed to unlawful practices. However, Ceylan, who was taken to the hospital in February 2022 due to the Covid-19, passed away on May 26, 2022 at the hospital, where he had been treated since then.
