Dismissed and arrested prosecutor Ferhat Sarıkaya, who investigated deep state organisation known as ‘Şemdinli case’, was sentenced to 10 years in prison over the pretext of terrorism charges on 28 March 2019. Moreover, court ruled continuation of his pre-trial detention during appeal process.
