Arrested prosecutor Abdulbaki Doğan and his medical doctor wife Fatma Doğan were respectively sentenced to 8 years 3 months and 6 years 3 months in prison over the pretext of terrorism charges on 9 April 2019. Furthermore, court ruled continuation of detention for Abdulbaki Doğan.
