Dismissed judge Müslüm Uzun was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in jail by Adana 2nd Assize Court for being member of armed terror organisation on 25 Jan 2018.
He was accused of using ByLock secure mobile application which was available on Google and Apple Stores and visiting arrested prosecutors who investigated MIT (National Intelligence Service) Trucks dispatching weapons to extremist groups in Syria case.
He denied accusation, asked his acquittal and release by emphasizing visiting his arrested prosecutor friends was in a humanistic manner.
After convicting, court ruled to continuation of his arrest.
