Upon his lawyer’s application, UN WGAD decided that member of Court of Cassation, justice Hamza Yaman’s ongoing incarceration is arbitrary and unlawful on 28 November 2018
On the almost ten applications stemmed from Turkey’s arbitrary detention practise under the Emergency Rule, the United Nation Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has decided that all detentions are arbitrary and discriminatory.
